Data Deletion for mySwitchBoard
Last updated: July 2026
You can permanently delete your mySwitchBoard account and all data associated with it at any time. This includes your profile, the sites you have saved, and the login credentials stored for them (encrypted in Supabase Vault). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open mySwitchBoard and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap the gear (Settings) icon in the top-right of the home screen.
- Tap your profile at the top of the Settings screen.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then tap Delete forever.
Your account, saved sites, and stored credentials are removed from our servers as part of this action.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in to the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete your account and all associated data on your behalf: contact us
Delete individual data (without deleting your account)
You do not have to delete your entire account to remove data. On the home screen, swipe a saved site and tap the delete action to permanently remove that site together with the encrypted login credential stored for it. Your account and any other saved sites are kept.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity (including any Facebook, Google, X, or email login linked to it).
- Your profile information (name, avatar, email) held by the app.
- Every site you saved and the encrypted login credentials stored for those sites.
Data held by third-party sign-in providers (for example your Facebook account itself) is not controlled by mySwitchBoard; manage that through the provider directly.
